Legionella Training

HSE Approved Code of Practice L8 Para 51 states that Competent persons should be:

…properly trained to a level that ensures tasks are carried out in a safe, technically competent manner and receive regular refresher training…

Zeta’s training solutions will help you to fulfil these obligations and to ensure that all levels of personnel are suitably trained.

At Zeta we understand that different job roles will require a different training approach. That may be via a hands on and practical approach to operator training working around shift patterns or by setting challenging scenarios for management teams to exercise their skills and judgement to demonstrate competence.

Scheduled open training courses run around the country and regularly at our purpose built training centre in Bicester near Oxford – typically running from 09.30 to 16.30 with lunch provided or alternatively we can deliver the courses at your own facility.

Zeta’s one day core training modules which are as follows, can be adapted to suit your sector and/or work patterns;

• CIBSE approved Legionella Awareness Training
– Suitable for those new to legionella or as a refresher course updated to the latest guidance

• Intermediate Hot and Cold Water and Others Risk Systems Training
– Focuses on the changes in HSG274 Part Two and evidencing competency with these systems

• Advanced Cooling Tower Training for Competent Persons and their teams

Very well delivered and informative course, very interesting and useful, many thanks

Great content throughout the training course, very informative

For us the training was exactly what we needed and was very well delivered

A very able instructor whose easy going manner and ability to make what could have been rather dull a quite enjoyable course!

I consider the training that my staff undertook was cost effective and very successful and I certainly will be looking to use your Training Services again...
